culture rights is an international network of academics, cultural practitioners, and researchers committed to furthering knowledge and experience through equitable exchange and support across racialised and cultural boundaries.

culture rights works to:

•    encourage members to undertake research, create, exhibit, and publish  work internationally.

•    support members in their career development in Higher Education and related Media Institutions.

•    promote and manage the annual cr research fellowship based at the University of East London and Goldsmiths.

•    support the creation of cr discussion panels and presentation groups to strategic international meetings, the annual MeCCSA with AMPE conference, and other events.

•    assist in the development of cr research groups between members and encourage national and international funding applications for research and media practice work.

•    campaign for equitable and fair information exchange, knowledge and recognition of cultural practice in Higher Education and related media institutions.

 •    maintain an online presence as a way to identify each other, share relevant resources, information, comment and archives.

•   create formal and informal networking events.
